儘管河內各大醫院的資深專科醫生多數具有海外進修背景，但普通護理、分診及行政人員的英語溝通能力仍然較為有限。外籍患者自行前往時，在掛號和檢查流轉環節可能會遇到交流困難。
公立醫院要求在掛號、檢驗、抽血、影像檢查及取藥等每個環節現場自費結算，通常接受越南盾現金或本地銀行卡。公立門診極少支援國際旅行保險直付，患者需先自費墊付，隨後憑票據向保險公司申請理賠。
由於這些機構承擔著整個越南北部地區的疑難重症轉診，非急重症患者在門診大廳可能需要等待數小時。

急救處置流程與撥打115急救電話
在需要立即進行心肺復甦、緊急手術或高級生命支持的危及生命狀況下，必須立即撥打越南急救電話115或迅速搭車前往最近的公立三級醫院急診科。
需要緊急入院處置的紅色警報症狀包括：劇烈胸骨後壓榨感、面癱或單側肢體癱瘓等急性中風徵兆、嚴重呼吸困難、無法控制的活動性出血、高燒伴頸項強直或意識不清。
撥打115時，請清晰報出具體街道地址、坊名及周邊顯著地標。如果住在酒店，可請前台員工協助用越南語向急救調度員準確說明位置。
前往急診就醫時，請隨身攜帶護照、旅行保險單據以及必要的個人病史資料。
