公立医院要求在挂号、检验、抽血、影像检查及取药等每个环节现场自费结算，通常接受越南盾现金或本地银行卡。公立门诊极少支持国际旅行保险直付，患者需先自费垫付，随后凭票据向保险公司申请理赔。
由于这些机构承担着整个越南北部地区的疑难重症转诊，非急重症患者在门诊大厅可能需要等待数小时。

需要紧急入院处置的红色警报症状包括：剧烈胸骨后压榨感、面瘫或单侧肢体瘫痪等急性中风征兆、严重呼吸困难、无法控制的活动性出血、高烧伴颈项强直或意识不清。
拨打115时，请清晰报出具体街道地址、坊名及周边显著地标。如果住在酒店，可请前台员工协助用越南语向急救调度员准确说明位置。
前往急诊就医时，请随身携带护照、旅行保险单据以及必要的个人病史资料。
